Realtor Katy Roden values every client and their real estate goals. Katy knows that informed buyers and sellers make the best decisions, and she keeps her clients informed of market trends by constantly advancing her own knowledge through continuing education classes. She believes in constant communication, attention to detail and exemplary service. For Katy, introducing relocating buyers to Houston is the fun part of working for Martha Turner Properties. Houston is such a friendly and welcoming city that it makes that part of Katy’s job a true pleasure.
Selling or purchasing a home is more than just a business transaction for most people. Katy offers compassion and understanding for the conflicting emotions experienced by her buyers and sellers throughout the transaction process. She has built two homes and remodeled three others, and uses her experience to guide sellers in effectively staging their homes for a successful sale and to help buyers realize both the potential and true value of a prospective purchase. She listens closely to buyers’ preferences in order to help them find the perfect home for their lifestyle, and her design expertise and understanding of what adds value makes clients feel that they are working with the very best.
Born and raised in Beeville, Katy attended college in South Texas. She raised her family in the Memorial area where her children attended Second Baptist School and Memorial High School. Katy has served on the Board of Friends of Ronald McDonald House in San Antonio and chaired their annual luncheon. She competed in the Nike Marathon in San Francisco, a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. An avid tennis player, Katy is a former board member of the Houston Racquet Club. When not working, she still finds time for tennis, walking in Memorial Park and cooking for family and friends.
